Allen Lee Ellison was born Aug. 6, 1943 in Mnahans, Texas to Wilburn and Burnell Ellison. He was called home by his heavenly Father on March 31, 2019.
He is survived by his life partner Charlotte Ford. Five daughters and their life partners: Cindy Nance and Tom Hill, Lela Ellison and Bobby Craig, Melissa Lewis and Matt Mallernee, Laura Lewis and Chuck Mondoux, and daughter-in-law Brenda Bailey. Three sons: Ronald Ellison, Donald Ellison and his life partner Shannon Wimmer, and Kerry Ford. Eighteen grandchildren: Barbie, Kristy, DeGina, Amanda, Eric, Brandon, Leslie, Farron, Candice, Tanner, Charity, Katie, Tyanna, Mattie, William, Janay, Anthony, and Zoe. Twenty-three great grandchildren. Three brothers and their families: Daryl Ellison, Lynn Ellison, and brother in law Ronald Ford. Also, several nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife MaryAnn Ellison, a grandaughter Jessica Nance, and sister in law Doretta Dugger.
Allen enjoyed spending time with his family, going to drag races, spending time at the lake camping, fishing, swimming and boating. Allen's occupation was master mechanic, and after retiring he became a master tinkerer.
Allen will be remembered as a loving spouse, father, grand father, uncle, and a server to his community by helping anyone in need of help.
Services will be held Saturday, April 13, at Refuge Church 2300 West Morton St. suite. 112 Denison, TX.

From a heavy heart please accept my condolences on the passing of My Brother. Many will ask, why am I saying Brother? Well Allen was not only my Father in law at one time in life, he was Also my friend. Besides the previous he was My Brother In The Wind! Once a Brother, Always a Brother!!
