Funeral services for Amma Belle Snow, 95, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 18, 2017 at First United Methodist Church in Whitesboro, with Rev. Adam Spore officiating. Interment will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Valley View, Texas. A family visitation will be held from 7:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday, November 17, 2017 at Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro.
Amma Belle passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville, Texas with her family by her side.
Amma Belle was born on April 11, 1922 in Hays Community to William Foister and Sophrona (Baker) Davidson. She married Harley Benson Snow on November 20, 1943 in Marysville, Texas. Amma Belle was a member of First United Methodist Church in Whitesboro and she had worked in the Garland School District as a custodian. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and traveling.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Alice Davidson of Gainesville; 7 nieces, Ann, Reba, Becky, Barbie, Pat, Kathy and Amy; a nephew, Mike; numerous great nieces and nephews and a special great-great nephew, Ben Watson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Foister and Sophrona Davidson; husband, Bo Snow; Sister and brother-in-law, Ella Frances and Bill Roe and brother, Charles Roe.
Pallbearers will be, Ben Watson, Mike Davidson, Eddy Murrell, Phillip Holle, W.D. Welch and Ben Wyrick.
