Bob's Story

Bob Ken Cypert passed away surrounded by his wife and children on November 10, 2016. Born in Hillsboro, Texas he was the son of Millard Cypert and May Dell Cypert. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 1969.
After graduation Bob enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly served for 5 years. Bob worked in the agriculture chemical industry for 40 years, retiring from Bayer Crop Science in 2008. Bob was heavily involved in the Texas Seed Trade Association where he was awarded the Distinguished Service Award in 2008.
After retirement, Bob and his wife Lanette enjoyed spending time together golfing, traveling, dancing, and cheering on their Red Raiders. Bob was a big family man and loved being with his children and grandchildren. Bob is preceded in death by his parents Millard and May Dell Cypert and his brother Charles Cypert. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Lanette; son Wade Cypert and wife, Sarah and their son Charles; daughter D'Ann Moldenhauer and husband, Craig and their children Tyler, Blair and Avery; daughter Lindsey Gailey and husband, Ronny and their daughter Ruby. Bob is also survived by his sister Carolyn and husband Carl Max Bennett; sister-in-law Elizabeth Cypert; brother-in-law David Anderson and wife Mickey; sister-in-law Denise Hood and husband Dennis; sister-in-law Carol Jarratt and husband David; sister-in-law Dana Anderson and many loving nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 14, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Sanders Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Sanders Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Texas Boys Ranch or the Texas Seed Trade
Association Scholarship Foundation.
