Carl Douglas Clark

Services for Carl Douglas Clark of Marietta, OK are set for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 8, 2016, in the Chapel of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, Marietta, with Rev. John Sconce officiating. Interment will be in the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, OK, under the direction of
Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
Mr. Clark was born in Gainesville, TX on November 14, 1954, the son of Carl E. Clark and Nora Lee Stacey Clark. He passed away in Gainesville on Sunday, September 4, at the age of 61.
Carl, a resident of Love County since 1983, worked as an equipment operator in construction. He loved riding horses as well as fishing and hunting. Carl also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and drinking coffee. He was affectionately called "PaPa" by many. Carl was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Kerry Clark.
Survivors include his wife, Tricia Clark of Gainesville; five sons and daughters-in-law, C.W. and Cindy Clark of Callisburg, TX, Kent and Alex Hughes and Kevin Clark of Gainesville, Will Clark of Enville, OK, and Aaron Vondrak of Thackerville, OK; three daughters and son-in-law, Jodie Henderson of Gainesville, Kristie and Gary Shaw of Rupert, ID, and Ashley Clark, also of Gainesville; sister andbrother-in-law, Sue and Dan Eck of Auburn, GA; 13 grandchildren Torrey, Jasmine, Mariah, Moses, Kolten, Dylan, Ava, Allie McGraw, Keely G., Caden, Karlie, Kynzi Bo, and Mason; great-grandson, Aven; uncle and aunt, Wayne and Terry Clark of Thackerville; and a host of
nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Serving as casket bearers will be Jamie Bryant, Larry Dickerson, Roger Dickerson, Kenneth Ing, Marty Grissom, and Bo Skinner. Honorary bearers are Charles Newsome, Dieter Ing, Matt Griffith, David Smith, Paul Griffith, Wayne Clark, and Danny Coulter.
Time of visitation for family and friends will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.Wednesday at the funeral home.
