Clayton Thomas "C.T." Babcock
C.T. went to be with his Lord and savior on February 24, 2017. He graduated Gainesville High School, Gainesville, TX in 1993, was voted Student Body President and played Offensive Tackle for GHS in Gainesville, he also attended East Texas State and the University of North Texas. C.T. cherished his high school friends as well as many others and all the memories. He was employed by Bill Utter Ford, who he considered family, and held a deep love for all things Ford related. C.T. had a big heart and was a true animal lover. He cherished his two cats, Doc and Morris, along with his beautiful salt water fish collection. C.T. never met a stranger and was a friend to all. He enjoyed working with computers and excelled at anything electronically related.
Raised in the horse industry, he was extremely knowledgeable and had a love for the family business. He resided in Gainesville and Sanger, TX and was blessed with many loyal and loving friends.
He is survived by parents Sharon & Randy Butler of Gainesville, TX and Jim (Kelly) Babcock of Sanger, TX, along with three children, daughters Riley Evelyn Babcock and Ryan Lane Babcock of Aubrey, TX and a son, Jaxon Burdette Babcock of Gainesville, TX. Brother & sister in law, Troy & Jaime Babcock of Wheelock, TX and step-sister Lydia Butler of Gainesville, TX, nieces Skylar Renee and Lexy Lena Babcock of Wheelock, TX and Maddison Jane VanHoose of Gainesville, TX. Grandfather Ross Clayton Babcock of Alymer, Ontario, Canada, and grandmother Marian Elaine Williamson of Skippack, PA. He also had a large extended family of many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was Preceded in death by his grandmother Anna Jean Babcock of Alymer, Ontario, Canada and grandfather Thomas Robert Williamson of Skippack, PA.
The family wishes to host a memorial Celebration of Life on April 2nd. In lieu of flowers there has been a trust fund set up for C.T.'s three children at
First State Bank, Gainesville, TX (C.T. Babcock Benefit Account, FBO Riley, Ryan & Jaxon Babcock. Our sincere thank you to his close friends who have been there for the family.
