Dolores Lippe
A memorial service for Dolores Lippe, 88, of Muenster, Texas is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Faith Lutheran Church in Gainesville, Texas with Pastor Scott Sundbye officiating.
Dolores went to be with her Redeemer, Jesus Christ, on October 12 in Gainesville, Texas.
Dolores was born January 8, 1928 in Olfen, Texas to Otto and Ida Lange. She was the youngest of 8 children. She married Albert Lippe on June 6, 1948 in Ballinger, Texas, where they resided until 1969 when they relocated to Muenster, Texas.
Dolores worked in medical records at the Muenster Memorial Hospital for 23 years. She was musically gifted and played the organ in three different Lutheran congregations for over 40 years. She was a talented accordion player and enjoyed entertaining many kinfolk at family reunions over the years. She also loved cooking, fishing, and her family life.
She is survived by her three sons: Mike Lippe of Dripping Springs, Fred Lippe and wife Judy of Ballinger, Mark and wife Nancie of Muenster, 10 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Albert, her parents, and siblings. A grand reunion is currently occurring in Heaven, in the presence of the Lord.
