To go from a sharecropper existence to earning a doctorate degree and becoming a college president is an astounding achievement. Uncle Eugene had the intelligence, drive, and ambition of 10 men. He definitely left his mark on this world and all of our hearts. He will be greatly missed. May the Good Lord bless Aunt Freddie and all of their wonderful children and grandchildren.
