James was born to Albert Leonard Williams, and Elsie Mae Hendrix- Williams, July 30, 1940 in Louisville, Kentucky. He married Donna Sue Wollum-Williams and they were married for 43 years, and they lived together in Gainesville. James started life off at an early age by working on his family's hog farm; once he graduated high school from Union City Tennessee, he left home to move to Texas where he went to work in the oil field. James worked for several concrete companies prior to retirement. Dad was able to do just about anything and he would do anything to provide for his family which included mowing yards and building things.
James had 6 children: Jimmy Williams and his spouse (Stacy Williams), Kenneth Scott (Scotty) Williams, Tracy Williams, Bobbie Williams-West, Connie Williams-Hill and her spouse (Daniel Hill), and Steven Williams. He also is survived by 8 grandchildren. James was a devoted, father and grandfather who took pride in his family. He always had a smile on his face and open arms for his children and grandchildren. He will be missed deeply. Our family knows that we have an angel watching down from heaven to continue guiding us for the rest of our lives.
James has requested no memorial or funeral services be had. Family will celebrate his life once his ashes are received.
We as a family appreciate all the support from family and friends.
