Graveside services for Mary C. Buckaloo-Stubblefield, 72, of Whitesboro, TX are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 5, 2018, in Lakeview Cemetery, Marietta, OK, with Bro. David Earl Whittington officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Marietta.
Mrs. Stubblefield was born January 4, 1946 in Marietta, the daughter of Robert E. and Pauline Sifford Whittington. She passed away Wednesday, October 31, in Whitesboro.
Mary had been a resident of Whitesboro for the past 11 years, previously making her home in Marietta and Kingston, OK. She married Ray Buckaloo on May 22, 1964 in Gainesville, TX, and he preceded her in death on February 29, 2004. On December 26, 2007 she and Ronnie Stubblefield were married in Woodbine, TX. Mary was employed on the assembly line at Weber Aircraft in Gainesville for 25 years. She enjoyed watching movies and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mary was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her first husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lisa Buckaloo Flanagan; three brothers, Charles, Robert and Vernon Whittington; and two sisters, Willie Mae Birkhead and Louise Woodring.
She is survived by her husband, Ron Stubblefield of the home; daughter, Cheryl Holland and husband Robert of Burneyville, OK; three brothers, James Whittington and Charlene Holt of Gainesville, Leon Whittington and wife Barbara of Thackerville, and David Earl Whittington and wife Linda, also of Gainesville; three grandchildren, Robby Holland and Jeanette, Brandon Fincher and Jessica, and Ethan Fincher; four great-grandchildren, T.J. Holland, Tyler Holland, Conner Fincher, and Scarlet Fincher; and her beloved dog "Jack."
Honorary bearers will be Barbara and Michael Robins and Billy and Jeanette Smallwood.
The funeral home will be open for viewing from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday with family hour from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
