Funeral Services for former Gainesville resident, Raymona White Kirkpatrick, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 26th at Meador Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Eddie Chennault officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Raymona passed away Friday, October 20, 2017 at Hills Nursing and Rehab in Decatur at the age of seventy-two.
She was born in Weatherford, Texas on March 15, 1945, to Albert Joseph "Red" and Marjorie Lathell (Oldham) White. Raymona had worked as the Executive Assistant to the TWU Dean of Nursing. She was an active member of Temple Baptist Church before moving to Decatur. She was a member of the Order of The Eastern Star in Gainesville and Decatur and a member of the Order of the Amaranth-Blue Bonnet Chapter in North Richland Hills..
Survivors include her husband, Evan Kirkpatrick of Decatur; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Randy Baird of Burleson; step-son, Brian Kirkpatrick of Missouri; six grandchildren, Randi Baird of Houston, Sharla Baird of Burleson, Alexandra "Alex" Baird of Burleson, Katelyn Baird of Burleson, Erin Baird of Burleson and Ian Baird of Burleson and brother, Joseph Malcom White of Gainesville. Raymona was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Collin Baird and sister, Mary Lou Moore.
