Thelma Lee (Pilgrim) Ward, age 100, passed away at her home in Marshall, Texas on June 30, 2018.
She was born in Coesfield, Texas on June 5, 1918 to Roland Thomas and Hettie Pilgrim and had recently celebrated her 100th birthday surrounded by her family and friends.
Thelma is preceded in death by her beloved husband, M. Byrd Ward; her parents, Roland Thomas and Hettie (Ivy) Pilgrim; her son, Norman Ward; her daughter, Pat Richter; her grand-daughter, Paula Schuetz and her sister, Pete Evans. She is survived by her grand-daughters, Kim Shoults and Lisa Ward (email@example.com), 6 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
She is also survived by many other family members and friends who were blessed by her life.
Thelma collected dolls, loved watching the Texas Rangers, crocheting, and birdwatching, but her true passion was the time she spent visiting with her cherished family.

A family gathering and visitation was held from 5pm-6pm, Friday, July 6, 2018 at Meadowbrook Funeral Home.
Her final resting place is Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville, Texas.
