Arthur's Story

Arthur "Earl" Williams was born on June 8, 1933 and he passed on
December 15, 2016. Earl's Gainesville career began in 1973 when he was transferred from California to become General Manager at Weber Aircraft. He was a founder of the Butterfield Stage Players in 1980. This meant so much to him and he was so happy that it is still flourishing. He returned to California headquarters in 1981 and assumed the role of President in 1983. He retired in Plano, Texas in 1995. Earl is survived by his wife, Ellen; his son Chris and his wife Tiki; and granddaughters Emily Hornsby, Elizabeth Williams, and Sara Williams.
