Barbra Suzanne Anderson Obituary

Barbra Suzanne Anderson, of Mountain Springs, Texas, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at the age of 77 in Denton, Texas. She was born in Wyandotte, Michigan on July 21, 1946, to James and Beverly (Preno) Clelland.


Barbra attended St. Patrick Catholic School, grades one through twelve. Upon graduation, she was admitted into the School of Dentistry at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She studied and received a degree in dental hygiene and graduated with Honors. After graduation she received a job in dental hygiene in Wisconsin and began her career.


Barbra met her husband, Richard Anderson, and on June 26, 1975, they were married after Richard was transferred to Irving, Texas. They were married for 48 years.


After retirement, Barbra began a second career of raising, training, and showing her German Shepard dogs in AKC competition. She was very successful having trained many Grand Champion Dogs and a Best in Show. She loved her dogs.


Barbra is survived by her husband, Richard; her son, Rich; sister, Jeanne (Clelland) Bagdol; niece, Alese (Bagdol) Mueller; and great nephew, Grayson Mueller. She was preceded in death by father, James; mother, Beverly (Preno) Clelland; and sister, Beverly (Clelland) Stieler.
