Carroll Hunter Enderby, 74, of Celina, passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Baylor Scott and White in Plano.

Carroll was born on April 7, 1949 in Gainesville to Andrew and Irma Ruth Enderby. Carroll had a long career in the oil and gas industry and was employed by U.S. Venture at the time of his passing. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was affectionately known as Paw Paw to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

His is survived by his wife, Rebecca of Celina; daughter, Dana Reedle and partner, Angel of Celina; son, Michael Palmertree and wife, Karace of Mannsville, OK; sister-in-law Donna Enderby of Era; sister-in-law Vickie Farrell and husband Marion of Collinsville; grandchildren Hunter, Macy, Kenzli, Lilly, Kellen, Rylee and Jaxon; and great-grandchildren, Jace, Sable Grace and Remi.

Carroll was preceded in death by his parents and twin brother, Carl Hunter Enderby.

Funeral services honoring Carroll will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 24, 2023 at Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro. Interment will follow at Collinsville Cemetery.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Meador Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m.
