Spring, TX - Cynthia Ann Dunnavent Hammer, lovingly known as Ann, was born on July 24, 1946, in Gainesville, Texas, to Powell and Evelyn Dunnavent. She passed away surrounded by the love of her family, leaving behind a legacy of devotion, gentleness, and quiet strength.
A 1963 graduate of Gainesville High School, Ann soon married the love of her life, Thomas Anthony Hammer. Together they shared 60 wonderful years of marriage and were looking forward to celebrating their 61st anniversary. Their life together was a true testament to enduring love and partnership.
Ann was preceded in death by her sister, Sue Eaton of Gainesville, and her daughter DeAnna Hammer of Lewisville.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Hammer; her daughter Bonnie Johnson and son‑in‑law Robbie Johnson of Spring, Texas; and her cherished grandson, Christian Schneider of St. Louis, Missouri.
Ann's greatest joy was her family, whom she loved with her whole heart. She also adored her loyal dog, Marco, and found peace and happiness spending time with her horses. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life.
Ann will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
