Daniel Jared Boen Obituary

Callisburg, TX - Daniel Jared Boen, 26 years old, of Callisburg, tragically died in a car accident on May 8th, 2026. Daniel attended Callisburg High School and was a cherished friend to many.

He had a huge heart, loved animals, fishing, EDM, being outdoors, and spending time with the people he cared about. Above everything else, Daniel loved being a father to his four-year-old son, Kage. His son was his world, and nothing made him happier than spending time with him, playing with him, and talking about him. He also deeply loved his partner, Raven Piper, and his 9 year old step-son, Kameron Jayce, who he loved as his own.

Daniel loved his family deeply. No matter how much time passed or what was going on in life, he always made sure the people he cared about knew he loved them. He had a gentle soul and a level of compassion that is hard to find in this world.

He is preceded in death by his father, Hubert Brent Boen, and his grandmother, Barbara Boen. Daniel is survived by his mother Candace Boen; his partner, Raven Piper; his son, Daniel Kage Boen; his step-son Kameron Jayce; his grandmother Judy Beauchemin; his grandfather, Wendell Boen; his brother, Brent Jr. Boen; and his sister, Brandi Boen.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a college fund that has been established for Daniel's four year old son, Daniel Kage Boen. Donations to the college fund can be sent to Bank of America under the name Daniel Kage Boen/Candace Boen. Payment can be made by electronic transfer (ask Candace Boen for the account number), or by sending via Zelle to candiboen@gmail.com.
