Gainesville - Darrell Glen Buffington Sr., 59, of Gainesville , Texas passed away June 10, 2025 at his home in Gainesville , Texas. He was born on December 12, 1965 in Gainesville, Texas to Bobby and Claudette (Hobbs) Buffington.
Darrell graduated from Valley View High School in 1984. He worked for Safran Seats in Gainesville for 32 years. An avid TV fan, his favorite shows were Seinfeld and Jeopardy. He was a master of the air drums.
Darrell is survived by his son, Darrell Buffington Jr., elder sisters Sherri Dutton, Nancy Horn, Bobbie Duke, Ruth Ann Howard, a twin brother; Gerald Buffington, younger sister Becky Buffington Smith and his stepmother, Pat Buffington.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Claudette Jane Moore and his father, Bobby Gene Buffington.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later time.
Memorials in honor of Mr. Buffington may be made to his son.
