Deola Sewell Agee, 96, of Gainesville, TX, passed away September 28, 2024 in Gainesville.
Deola was born November 28, 1927 in Ada, OK. She married Russell Newton Sewell on August 14, 1944. She enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time with her family.
Survivors include: son Garry J. Sewell and his wife Sheila; son Monta Sewell and his wife Kimberly; daughter Sherry Weaver and her husband Buddy; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Deola was preceded in death by: husband Russell Sewell; son Larry R. Sewell; daughter Brenda Urrutia; three brothers; three sisters; and daughter-in-law Cheryl Sewell.
Deola's grandsons will be serving as pallbearers.
The family wishes to acknowledge daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Buddy Weaver, for the exemplary care they showed their mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend during the final decade of her life.
Services are scheduled for Wednesday, October 2, 2024. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home, Gainesville. A graveside service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery, Gainesville. You may register your condolences online at www.geojcarroll.com.
