Donna Kaye Enderby, 74, of Era, TX, passed away February 19, 2025 in Era.

Donna was born February 6, 1951 in Frederick, OK to Reynolds Leo Ansley, Sr. and Imogene Massey Ansley. She graduated from L.D. Bell High School in Fort Worth, TX. Donna married the love of her life, Carl Enderby, on June 26, 1981. Mrs. Enderby attended North Central Texas College, graduating as an LVN in 1991 and as an RN in 1997. She worked at several hospitals in Denton before retiring in 2015. She loved being a nurse and caring for all of her patients. Mrs. Enderby enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading, painting, and farming. Most recently, she was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. Previously, she was a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church. Towards the end of her life, she particularly enjoyed her weekly Bible study with Benny Strong, and Bobbye and Choice Stephens. Her loving and tenacious spirit will be missed dearly.

Survived by: daughter Melissa Burgess, her husband Marty, and their children Matthew and Madalee; son Randall Moore and his family; daughter Jennifer Ramirez and her son Andrew Dickerson; sister-in-law Becky Enderby; sister-in-law Lydia Ansley; and beloved family friends Ryan and Macy Eldridge.

Predeceased by: her parents; her husband; and brother Reynolds Ansley, Jr.

Services are scheduled for Tuesday, February 25, 2025. The family will begin receiving friends at 10:00 a.m. at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home, Gainesville, TX. The funeral will begin at 11:00 a.m. A committal service will follow at Era Cemetery, Era, TX.
