Edward "Eddie" Charles Krauss Jr., 56, Of Gainesville, Texas, was called to his eternal home on Thursday, November 23, 2023.

Eddie was born on August 5, 1967 in Westwood, New Jersey to Edward Charles and Barbara (Ranges) Krauss Sr. He was a man who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, fishing and watching his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers play football. He worked at Tom Thumb in Gainesville and attended church at Gainesville Bible Church. He had a passion for working on International Scout trucks.

He is survived by his wife, Alyssa Krauss of Gainesville; daughter, Gabrielle Krauss of Gainesville; son, Michael Langford of Gainesville; mother, Barbara Krauss of Dunnellon, FL.; sister, Debbie Davis and husband, Scott of Sunset, TX.; nieces, Brittany Nelson, Courtney Kreh and nephew, Kristopher Davis.

Eddie was preceded in death by his father, Edward Krauss Sr., grandparents, Edward G. Krauss, Florence Kazlauskas, Madeline Kistler and George Ranges.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Gainesville Bible Church, officiated by Bro. Mark Wascom, followed by a private burial at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro.
