Edna Faye Spindle entered the gates of Heaven on the morning of March 22, 2016 in Denton, Texas at the age of 88.

Born on February 8, 1928 in Sanger, Texas, she was the daughter of Joe Howard Ashcraft and Nancy (Atchison) Ashcraft.

On May 19, 1945, she married Carl C. Spindle in Sanger, Texas. They made their home in Sanger where they raised their four children and were married for 64 years before he preceded her in death in 2009.

Faye retired from Moore Business Forms after 20 plus years of service and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sanger.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and one sister.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Carl Lynn Spindle of Moss Lake, David Leon Spindle of Lewisville and Danny Spindle and wife, Debbie of Sanger; one daughter, Sharon Spindle Morris and husband, Mike of San Antonio; seven grandchildren, Christi Spindle, Ami Spindle, Carly Spindle Sperry and husband, Chad, Steven Morris, Rachel Morris German and husband, Josh, Joseph Bengfort, and Lindsey Bengfort; sisters-in-law, Frances Helton, and Jo Ann Belz; brother-in-law, Floyd Spindle; and her great-grandchildren, Taylor Sperry, Gage Sperry, Jordynn Sperry and Dahlia Morris.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Coker Funeral Home in Sanger.

Funeral services for Faye will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 25, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Sanger.

Interment will follow the services at the Bolivar Cemetery. Mike Morris will officiate.
