Thackerville - Harry Lynn Dickerson, 75, of Thackerville, Oklahoma passed away April 20, 2025 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Plano, Texas. He was born on December 31, 1949 in Monahans, Texas to Roger Milton and Ruth (Clark) Dickerson.

Harry drove big rigs for over 40 years, nearly 20 of those years he was owner operator. He retired close to 10 years ago. He enjoyed being home with his dogs watching NASCAR and sports on tv. Anyone that knew Harry knows he was a contrary man but would do anything for anyone. He loved his son and daughter dearly along with his 6 grandkids and 5 great grandkids.

Harry is survived by:

Son Roger William Dickerson, daughter Tanya Lynn Chandler, sister Lanna Terrell, 6 grandkids Diamond, Salina, Skylar, Stacia, Dawson and Logan, 5 great grandkids Emerald, Lilly, Nina, Sterling, and Jensen.

He was preceded in death by:

Father Roger Milton Dickerson, Mother Ruth Calvert, Brothers Jerry, Larry, and Lanny Dickerson, and sister Betty Parker

The family will receive friends at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home on Monday, April 28, 2025 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. with Johnny Sconce officiating obituary and gravesite and Brother Joe Patterson officiating the message. Interment will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery of Thackerville, Oklahoma.
