Memorial services for James Amador, 88, of Gainesville were held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014 in Gainesville with Rev. Gelasio Garcia and family members officiating. Mr. Amador died Sept. 11, 2014 in Gainesville. He was born Aug. 9, 1926. Survivors include his children, Delores Gracia of San Diego, Calif., Linda Arellano of Gainesville, Ernie Castillo of Gainesville and James Amador, Jr. of Tijuana, Mexico; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
