JANIS SUE (FITZHUGH) HESSE Mass for Janis Hesse age 70 of Muenster is set for 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Sacred Heart Church with Father Ken Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Rosary and Vigil will be held at 6:00 PM, Monday, April 10, 2017 at Scott Funeral Home in Muenster. Janis died on April 8, 2017.

Janis was born on December 10, 1946 in Wichita Falls to Ernest and Irene (Comer) Fitzhugh. She married the love of her life Richard Hesse on September 8, 1972. Janis was a devoted Wife, Mother and Nana. She was loved by many and she will be deeply missed.

Janis is survived by her daughters: Carol and husband, Bryce Chapman, Melinda Nelson, and Jenny and husband, Robby Hayes; eight grandchildren: Lara Hesse, Lorna Gantt, Bradley, Patrick, and Ryan Chapman, Rileigh Nelson, Meagan and Ashley Hayes; three great-grandchildren: Jaiden, Isaac, and Olivia; brother: Doyle and wife, Greta Fitzhugh.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Richard Hesse and her parents.

Pallbearers are her grandchildren.
