Vera Jayline Brown, age 63, of Whitesboro, TX, passed away peacefully, at Presbyterian Hospital, Dallas, TX, on Tuesday, April 26, 2022.

Jayline was born on January 21, 1959 in Gainesville, TX to J.T. Brown and Lillian Earline (Ramsey) Brown. She was a graduate of Whitesboro High School in 1977 and graduated from Texas A & M with a BA Degree in 1981. She was a retired school teacher. She was an awesome specialist of Autism. She loved working with Autistic and special needs children and helping develop their lives. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory is her sister; Jana & Mark Abernathy of Whitesboro, TX, her brother; Lynn "Bubba" Brown of Whitesboro, TX, her aunts; Daloris & Mike Burkhart and Betty Starnes, nieces; Shawnda Brown, Andrea Brown, Molly & Dalton White-Cloud, nephew; Aaron Abernathy, great-niece and nephews; Laurelei Rajala, Brayton Stopka, F.B. White-Cloud, other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; J.T. & Lillian Earline Brown, and niece Alesa Brown.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at Legacy Pointe Baptist Church, Whitesboro, TX with Brother Joe Patterson & Brother Lyndel Lee Jr. officiating. Interment will be at Oak Wood Cemetery, Whitesboro, TX. Pallbearers will be Curtis Ramsey, Ken Carden, Danny Carden, Buddy Ramsey, Dawson Clark and Jordon McMasters.

Family and friends visitation will be one hour prior to the service, 10-11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Legacy Pointe Baptist Church Youth Department.
