Gainesville, Texas - Jeannie Grace (Arrington) Garvin passed away Feb. 16, 2021.
Jeannie was born June 18, 1958. Jeannie enjoyed so many activities such as camping, fishing, hunting, gardening, cooking and painting. However; she was most passionate about quilting especially with her mom, aunt, uncle and cousins.. Jeannie attended Callisburg school and graduated from Gainesville High School in 1976. She got her degree in Nursing and travelled to Alaska where she worked and lived until she returned to Texas in 2015. Jeannie is survived by her son Albert Hughes, wife Natalie and 2 grandkids Carter and Ava Hughes of River Oaks, Texas. Mother, Merylene Arrington of Gainesville, Texas, Sisters, Monnie Reid and husband Rusty of Muenster, Texas, Joyce Ulmer of Gordonville, Texas, and Rebecca Scott of Fort Worth, Texas. Brothers Aurelian Smith of Thackerville, Oklahoma and Richard Nabors and wife Paula of Amarillo, Texas. Aunt Carylene Cartwright of Collinsville, Texas and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jeannie was preceded in death by Husband Ted Garvin, Father Leon Arrington, Sister Deborah Diane Strickland and Brother Ray Leon Arrington Jr.
