Gainesville - Jose Emmanuel Torres Villanueva was born on April 8th, 2000 in Denton, Tx to Jose C Torres and Silvia Villanueva Torres.

He graduated from Gainesville High School in 2018. He married Michelle "Cici" Torres on January 3rd, 2026. He loved spending time with his close friends and family, working on all his vehicles, binge-watching movies and TV shows, and jamming out to loud music. His perseverance after all the hardship in his life was truly admirable.

Jose is survived by his wife Michelle "Cici" Torres; father Jose C Torres, stepmother Ana Torres, siblings; Erika Arredondo, Giovanni Arredondo, Diana Arredondo, Ariana Torres and grandmother Carmen Villanueva.

He was preceded in death by his mother Silvia Villanueva Torres, grandparents; Silviano Villanueva, Jose J. Torres and Delfina Torres.

Pallbearers will be: Jesús I. Rocha, David Mendez, Albino Torres, Ernesto Torres, Rene Torres, Giovanni Arredondo.

Rosary and visitation will be at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home of Gainesville, Texas on Sunday, May 10, 2026 beginning at 6:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Gainesville. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery.
