Kenneth Roy Harper, 77, of Thackerville, OK, was born on August 3, 1946, in Gainesville, TX, to Porter J. and Freeda Lee (Beaver) Harper. He passed from this life on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at his Thackerville residence.
Kenneth graduated from Thackerville High School and worked in management at Gainesville Auto Parts, where he retired after 50 years of service. He loved working, fishing, squirrel hunting, and loved watching his Cowboys play. No matter where he was at, if it was time for the Cowboys to play, he would yell...."Go Cowboys".
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Johnny Harper and Glendon Harper; and sisters, Martha Sprouse and Petrissa Ann Harper.
Left to cherish Kenneth's memory are his nephews, Ronnie Harper and wife Karen of Combine, TX, Robert Harper and wife Cindy of Irving, TX, David Harper and wife Okie of South Korea, Lance Harper and wife Addison of Pasadena, CA, and Steve Sprouse and wife Brenda of Thackerville; nieces, Brenda Steelman and husband Barry of Denver, CO, Lisa White and husband Bryan of Terrell, TX, and Pam Bleything and husband Jim of Sanger, TX; and numerous great nieces and great nephews.
A memorial visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, January 31, 2024, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Marietta. Cremation services are under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Marietta.
