Denton, Texas - Kevin Lee Outlaw, 46, passed away on May 18, 2026, after a courageous and inspiring battle with cancer. Born on June 26, 1979, in Waco, Kevin spent his final years in Sanger, where he was surrounded by the family and friends he loved so deeply.

Kevin was the beloved son of Vicki and Rodney Outlaw, devoted husband to Ginger Outlaw, the love of his life and his greatest partner and source of strength, and proud father to Alexis Renshaw and Landon Outlaw. His children were the greatest joy of his life, and he loved them with all his heart.

He is also survived by his brothers, Mark Outlaw and his wife, Autumn; Jeffrey Outlaw; and Charles Outlaw and his wife, Krista, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends whose lives were made better by knowing him.

Kevin was a standout athlete and scholar from an early age. At La Vega High School, he was an honor graduate, a member of the National Honor Society, and earned All-District honors in baseball.

He continued his baseball career at McLennan Community College, where his team won a conference championship, and then at University of Texas at Arlington, where he earned his bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science and celebrated another conference championship.

Kevin later earned his Master of Education from Texas A&M University-Commerce. For more than a decade, he dedicated himself to students as a special education teacher, baseball coach, and assistant principal in North Texas school districts including Gainesville, Callisburg, Sanger, and Krum.

He positively impacted the lives of countless students and athletes through his leadership, encouragement, and belief in their potential.

In recent years, Kevin brought his leadership talents to the construction and materials industry, serving in executive roles with OSBURN and Baker Construction.

Kevin had a lifelong love of baseball, golf, sports, and collecting Nike sneakers. He was known for his sharp wit, infectious personality, and his favorite pastime—stirring the pot just enough to keep everyone laughing. Kevin had a remarkable ability to bring people together and make them feel valued.

Above all, Kevin will be remembered for his resilience, his strength, and the unwavering love he showed to his family and friends. Even through multiple battles with cancer, he faced every challenge with courage, determination, and humor. His life was a true example of perseverance and excellence.

A visitation for Kevin is from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday May 22, 2026, at the First United Methodist Church in Denton. Funeral services will also take place at the church at 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 23, 2026.

Kevin's legacy of love, laughter, leadership, and strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
