FORT WORTH - Linda Ruth Hott Watson, 80, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024. Linda was a native of Gainesville, TX and long-time resident of Fort Worth, TX.

Family and friends are invited to attend her service 12:00 p.m. October 1, 2024, in Greenwood's Live Oak Chapel at 3100 White Settlement Road, Fort Worth, Texas, 76107. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service. A graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Gainesville, Texas at 4:00 p.m. following services.

Linda enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, quilting, gardening, having lunch and playing Canasta with friends, traveling, and decorating for holidays.

Linda was involved in her community and enjoyed being able to help people. She had a successful career at Parkside, Summer Sky, and the Right Step where she was VP of Marketing. Linda was active in the Fort Worth Woman's Club.

Linda was preceded in passing by her parents, James and Edith Hott; and sister Sandra Hott Price.

She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Leonard Watson; children, Kimberly (Trey) Cleveland and Cherisse (Keith) Ashcraft; grandchildren, Carson and Graham Cleveland, Blair and Channing Ashcraft; great-grandchildren, Waverly and Jack Cleveland; and many beloved in-laws, niece, nephews, and friends.
