Patsy (Smith) "Pat" Beck, 87, of Gainesville, TX, passed away December 8, 2024 in Denton, TX.
Pat was born May 24, 1937 in Telephone, TX. She was married to Adam Murphree from 1954 until his passing in 1974. Pat was then married to James Beck from 1982 until his passing in 2011. She worked at Weber Aircraft for over 30 years until retiring. Pat enjoyed singing and dancing and would make jewelry in her free time. Her memory will be cherished by the many people that loved her.
Survivors include: daughter Judy Murphree Mangrum of Gainesville; stepdaughter Darlene Murphree of Splendora, TX; sister Peggy Stone of Lebanon, MO; grandson Chris & Gina Foster of North Richland Hills, TX; great-granddaughter Brooklyn Sanders & Trinity Foster of North Richland Hills; great-great-grandchildren Kaydence and Asher Sanders, and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Beck was preceded in death by: mother Pearl Vanzandt; sister Margaret Pilling; sister Joyce Morrelli; husband J.A. "Adam" Murphree; and husband James Beck.
A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Fairview Cemetery, Gainesville. Arrangements have been entrusted to Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. You may register your condolences online at www.geojcarroll.com.
