Patricia "Elaine" Boone Hogan passed away on February 19, 2025, in Gainesville, Texas. She was 83 years of age. Elaine was born to Thurston and Jo Ann Boone on November 29, 1941, in Gainesville, Texas.

Elaine attended Gainesville High School, and she married her husband of 65 years, Wilbur "Tom" Hogan, on April 18, 1959. Elaine and Tom moved to Lewisville, Texas, and had three children together. Elaine worked for Peterbilt Motors Company for over 17 years, and she enjoyed her retirement back in her hometown of Gainesville with Tom and their cats.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, husband (Wilbur "Tom" Hogan), son (William "Bill" Hogan), brothers (Larry Wayne Smith, David Smith, James Boone, and Donald Boone), and sister Mary Franklin Rollins. She is survived by her aunt (Betty Boone), sister B.J Baggs, Sue Knight and husband Steve, Patsy Robertson, and Janie Carr. Also survived by sisters-in-law Joan Ellyett, Lisa Hancock, Linda Harlow and husband O.D. "Lefty" Harlow), and brother-in-law Robert Hogan. Her children Brian Hogan and wife Eden, Kristin Bilstad and husband Jake), grandchildren (Miranda Hogan, Cameron Hogan and wife Sarah, Melanie Hogan and husband Thomas, Jake Hogan, and Hannah Bilstad), great-grandson (Ayson Hamaker). Other survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation with family will be at 1:00pm on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home, with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m. There will be a private family graveside service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, in Fairview Cemetery.
