Sherman - Brenda Kay Price, 82, of Sherman, Texas, was called to her eternal home in heaven on Sunday, February 22, 2026.

She was born on June 1, 1943, in Muenster, Texas, to Silas Brady and Essie Mae (Maples) Evans. Brenda attended high school in Gainesville and was a faithful member of Legacy Pointe Baptist Church. She worked for First State Bank in Gainesville, Texas for many years.

Brenda enjoyed the simple pleasures in life—working with ceramics, fishing, and most of all spending time with her family. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought endless pride and happiness to her life.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Mathis and husband Timmy of Whitesboro, and Margarett Jolliff and husband Greg of Lone Grove, Oklahoma; her brother, Jimmy Evans and wife Linda of Woodbine; grandchildren, Kyle Jolliff, Evan Jolliff, and Joshua Mathis; and great-grandchildren, Ty Jolliff, Truett Jolliff, Mackenzie Jolliff, Jack Mathis, and Zoe Sharp.

Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Don Price; her parents, Silas and Essie Evans; her brother, Joe Evans; and her infant sister, Lucy.

Graveside services honoring Brenda will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro, officiated by Rev. Joe Patterson. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro.
