Gainesville - May 4, 1943 — July 3, 2025
Born to Bissel and Ida (Smith) Warren on May 4, 1943, in Grandview, AR, Ronny grew up on the family dairy farm alongside
his siblings, Bill and Joy.
On November 30, 1964, Ronny traded the herd of cattle for a family, marrying Margaret Woolsey and becoming Daddy to Jack, Eva, John, Brian, and René.
Quickly getting the hang of this family thing, the couple added Brett, Mitzi, and Deion to their rowdy bunch. As a truck driver of 50 years, he spent most of his time on the road, but when he was home, he was present with those he loved. He had a way of connecting with his large family on an individual basis that could make each member feel known and loved.
With a spirit built to roam, he led the family on journeys through California, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri, eventually settling in Texas. Along the way, 22 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren were added to the Warren Legacy.
Next to his family, he loved exploring the open roads of this beautiful country, with his favorite being the wide-open desert terrain. For him, trucking was never just a career— it was a declaration of freedom, a way to roam wide and wild. He knew the highways and byways of America like the back of his hand and spent his free time riding motorcycles with his family.
He was happiest with the wind in his hair, God above him, the rumble of a motor below him, and the open road in front of him.
Ronny is preceded in death by his parents, Bissell and Ida Warren; brother: Bill Warren; sister: Joy Warren Johnson; sons: Deion & Baby Warren; and grandson Andy Warren.
He is survived in life by his wife of 60 years: Margaret Warren of Gainesville;
Sons: Jack and wife Rhonda Warren, John T. and wife Misty Warren, Brian and wife Wayonia Warren, Brett and wife Amy Warren; Daughters: Eva and husband Randel Beaver, Leslie Rene Lyon, Mitzi and husband Tim Graves; Grandchildren: Kenny and April Warren, Nick and Erin Warren, Nathaniel Warren, Jonathan and Kadee Warren, Matthew and Brianna Warren, Jerry Beaver and Kayla, Charity and Ryan Smith, Justin and Nicole Warren, Trey and Vittoria Warren, Melissa and Jorge Lara, Jessica and Daniel McNamara, Brandi and Darren Voth, Chancey and Brisa Graves, Brady and
Courtney Warren, Shelby and Emily Warren, Sydney and Evan Hand, Quincey and Stephanie Graves, Sam and Shandace Graves, McKenzi and Ervey Terrazas, Baylee and Jacob Williams, and Britnee and Derek Sicking, forty-two great grandchidren, and seven great-great grandchildren.
After a recent diagnosis of liver failure, Ronny passed away on July 3, 2025, peacefully surrounded by loved ones in his home. He spent his last days surrounded by family, cracking jokes, sharing memories, showing off his new boots, and being
ornery with that mischievous twinkle in his crystal-blue eyes.
Ronny, a cherished member of New Life Apostolic Church, was baptized in 1984 and devoted his life to the Lord, serving with unwavering faith. He loved Jesus, his family, adventure, and laughter.
