Gainesville - Shirley Jean (Brown) Shaw, 76, of Gainesville, passed away August 28, 2025 in Gainesville.
Shirley was born February 22, 1949 in Saint Jo. She was raised around Saint Jo and spent most of her adult life around Gainesville. Miss Shirley took pride in her care of others as a professional nurse. She enjoyed attending church and treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren.
Predeceased by: parents Clarence and Mary (Wolfenberger) Brown; and daughters Janice and Joanne.
Survived by: son David Price of Nocona; son Kurt McCage of Gainesville; grandchildren Ashley Price, Joseph McCage, and Lucas McCage; and brother Kenneth Brown.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home, Gainesville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cub Scout Pack 143. You may register condolences online at www.geojcarroll.com.
