I first met Dr Currier in 1993 while in nursing school at COOKE COUNTY COLLEGE (NCTC now). He was our teacher for Integrated Biological Science and he was the smartest most humble guy. When we didn’t understand something he was so patient until we got it. We spent lots of time after class with him explaining things to us. I have a picture of him with a custom cake we had made for him at the end of that class. He was so well respected. When I had my youngest dtr my OB-GYN was out of town when I had some problems come up-he was so calm and reassuring and took good care of us till my doctor got back. Rest In Peace Dr Currier! Well done good and faithful servant.

Doctor Currier will be missed by many patients he was good to and employees of the clinic and hospital he treated as family. He was an interesting man who like to share his hobbies, (the restoration of many style cars) and was a man always sharing other interest he had when not at the clinic or hospital. A dedicated doctor when it came to attending Medical Staff and the Cooke County Medical Society meetings. Very proud and always sharing memories of his family! Yes, Doctor Currier will definitely be missed by many! Continued thoughts and prayers for the family members.

Dr. Currier was such a funny good man. He called me a hoot. He delivered my second son and he would tell me that I was having twins and I told him if I have twins your wife was going to be upset he said Why? I said because one of them was going home with you 😋.
My prayers and condolences are sent out to the family.

The reason I have a beautiful son is because Dr Currier helped us through the process of getting pregnant and finally the birth. He took such good care of all of us. He made possible what was almost impossible. He will always hold a special place in our hearts and our family. I hope his children and grandchildren know what a special person he was.

I worked along side you for 10 years in the clinic and then another 5 in the hospital! I am the nurse I am because of your compassionate caring soul. Up until the day you died I always knew I could call on you for advise, encouragement, reassurance and just friendly conversation. You taught me so much, not just about Obstetrics and Gynecology but about life. I knew so much about your life and children and how much you so loved them all! Your stories and teachings will live on in my memories! I will miss you dearly my friend! Love you and until I see you again Rest In Peace!

Dr Currier was hands down the best doctor ever in my opinion. He delivered all 4 of my children. My first when I was 18 years old and scared to death. He just had a way about him...you just knew as long as he was there everything was going to be ok. It never seemed like a job for him. He truly cared for each and every one of his patients. There will never be a more caring compassionate doctor than this man. He will be truly missed by many!

He was a one of a kind man. He delivered my husband and took care of me with our first son. He was an amazing Dr who didn't treat his patients like they were just another patient. All his patients were treated like family. He made sure we were taken care of. When my son was coming early he did everything to make sure we were taken care of. He was a gentle man with a big caring heart. I can't even put into words the love and respect this man had from the entire community. What a great loss this is. My sympathies go to his family. He was loved by his patients.
May you rest in peace.

Dr Currier delivered my second son and was amazing.. complications arose and he handled it all perfectly! I also had the privilege to work along side with him at the clinic 2 yrs ago and he taught me so much about many things not just medicine. Dr Currier was very intelligent and loved his career. He will be greatly missed. Prayers for all of his family!

This was a great man and a great doctor. He helped me many times during my life and most likely saved my life. He had such a gentle caring soul. He helped me prepare for my GED, let me cry on his shoulder when I was really having a tough time. He immediately recognized I had a serious health condition after a bout of strep throat that has spread to my blood and admitted me to the hospital(saving my life). And when I had a breast cancer scare and couldn't get into a doctor or scan for weeks...he walked me over to get the scan and held my hand the whole time and read the scans as they were doing them. The world has definitely lost a great one!
My prayers are with his family and friends.

I absolutely adored this man! He was there for me through alot. He delivered 4 of my living children. He held my hand through my miscarriage and my post partum care of my stillborn. He made me see my worth when I went through my severe depression. He sat me down and told me how it was when I didn't make good or safe choices for myself. He was like a father to me during some pretty rough times in my life. He was not just my OB. He was a great man. He will always hold a special place in my heart. I am so sorry for his family's loss. I am so greatful that I had him in my life for 7+ years.

I'm so sorry for your loss.
14 years ago, he delivered my baby girl! He told me when I was 8 weeks along that we'd have a baby on july 1st, 2005. His estimation was spot on. She was born that day. I remember, it was a friday! He told me not to call him on a friday... he'd be out doing things. Sure enough she came on a friday and had to quit, to come deliver her! He was a wonderful man, he will be missed! Prayers for you during this difficult time.

All i can say is hes an amazing soul. He went beyond his professional boundries when my child was born with health issues. He's delivered all 4 children I've given birth to. And when he says he thinks of his patients as family, i felt he really truly meant it.
