Healdton, Oklahoma - TROY ANDREWS

Funeral services for Troy Lee Andrews, 73, of Healdton, Oklahoma, are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 3, 2019, at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 2 at the funeral home.

Mr. Andrews passed away September 29, 2019, in Healdton, Oklahoma.

Troy was born August 18, 1946, in Gainesville to George Henry and Bertha Mae (Martin) Andrews. He married Diane Schechinger on November 14, 1986, in Gainesville. An avid outdoorsman, Mr. Andrews enjoyed coon hunting, chicken fighting, raising greyhounds and jack rabbits, and loved county music. Most of all, he treasured the moments he was able to spend with his grandchildren.

Survivors include: wife Diane Andrews of Healdton, Oklahoma; son Ronnie Andrews of Gainesville; son David Andrews and wife Cheri of Mansfield; daughter Connie Telles and husband Juan of Gainesville; daughter Patty Sieger and husband Raymond (Bubba) of Gainesville; son Colby Nissen of Denton; son Cody Nissen and wife Brandi of Denton; daughter Grace Goetz and husband Jack of Gardner, KS; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sister Juanita Snider of Woodbine; brother Butch Andrews of Dallas; mother-in-law Grace Marie Schechinger; 4 brothers-in-law; and 5 sisters-in-law.

Mr. Andrews was preceded in death by: his parents; son Cory Nissen; brothers: Richard Andrews and George Andrews, Jr.; father-in-law Ellsworth Schechinger; and brother-in-law Don Snider.
