Wanda Sue (Moore) Crisman, 79, of Plano, Texas passed away May 26, 2023 after a long battle with dementia.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Dwain Odel Crisman, her parents James Vernon Moore, Ina Agnes (Findley) Moore, her brothers Troy Vernon Moore, John Eddie Moore, and Bobby Glen Moore.

She is survived by her four children, Shannon Martin (Jerry), Dirk Crisman (Kerri), Lynette Crisman, Lisa Hutchinson (Jon) and 7 grandchildren, Jordan, Trevor, Caitlin, Meagan, Melanie, Jacob, Daniel and 2 great grandchildren Jaydn and Paisley.

She was born September 29, 1943 in Whitesboro, Texas but grew up and graduated high school in neighboring Gainesville. She was the youngest with three older brothers, she was in her own words "definitely spoiled" as her brothers doted on her constantly. She moved to Dallas shortly after high school taking a job in downtown.

She married Dwain Odell Crisman July 2, 1964 in Dallas, Texas where they lived until they out grew their home with the birth of their fourth child, moving to an up and coming town east of Dallas called Rowlett, Texas. They would eventually purchase several acres outside of the growing city, moving the family to a small town called Caddo Mills. This self-proclaimed "city girl" was out of her comfort zone finding herself suddenly in charge of chickens, goats, ducks, horses, and more, and a large garden. She quickly took on the task and was the envy of everyone on the school bus as her children would arrive every day after school to the smell of fresh baked bread wafting through the air. Years later they would move back toward Dallas, settling in Garland so they could be closer to their grandchildren.

Wanda was an excellent cook, seamstress and mom (and privately a pretty good artist.) She had a quiet reserve but a quick wit and was a true servant of God. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
