Willie Grant Davis Jr fondly known as Dallas was born Sept 9, 1950 and passed peacefully on Oct 1,2022.
Dallas was born in French Camp, California to Ruth Ellen and Willie Grant Davis Sr. who were migrant farmers at the time of his birth. The family later moved to Texas where they opened a Gas station where the boys learned a new family business and Dallas gained a love for mechanics and wreckers. He lived in many states over the years a few of them included California, Kansas,and Nevada, but ultimately Texas called his name and he returned to his family home. Here he found a job at Hunters towing and recovery where he just recently retired. Some of his favorite things outside of work included travel, collecting memorabilia, and playing music with his siblings at family gatherings. He also enjoyed country music and dancing.
He is survived by his daughter Antonia Barton of California her husband, his 4 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. his son Christopher Davis of Kansas his wife and his 6 grandchildren. His siblings Patt Stell, Tim Davis, and Darlene Sickling and 26 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Ruth Ellen Davis, Father Willie Grant Sr. and two brothers Robert Glen Davis and Gary Dale Davis.
